Looks like China is fast becoming the primary market for new product launches. To wit, the 2010 Mitsubishi Outlander EX. Complete with the new nose and headlamps, leather interior, and multi-colored MID. Well, expect this to hit our shores in 2011. Interior pics after the jump.

As a symbol of how confident GM is of the resilient Chinese car market, here a sampling of their ads for the new Camaro. Bumblee would have been pleased…but it goes to show you how different markets would react. My two centavos would be: they couldn’t get away with this in the US.

Looks like the Chinese market is the place to be for new car launches in the actual showrooms. Case in point…the new Kia Forte which replaces the forgettable Spectra (remember?). The new car will launch with 1.6l and a 2.0l petrol engines. No word yet if a diesel will be offered in the future.

On the inside, there’s a USB and auxiliary port, steering wheel mounted controls, new red backlighting, and a “Start” button. Really does pay to be world’s largest car market….

Which begs another question…where is the Chevrolet Cruze? A car that was supposedly designed ahead of the Forte? (more…)
