Now that the new and heavily facelifted Outlander is out, its time to speculate what the real new-generation Outlander would look like. From Burlappcars.com, the picture above is the only current speculation we have on what it will look like.

Looks like China is fast becoming the primary market for new product launches. To wit, the 2010 Mitsubishi Outlander EX. Complete with the new nose and headlamps, leather interior, and multi-colored MID. Well, expect this to hit our shores in 2011. Interior pics after the jump.

Mitsubishi finally unveiled the brand new Mitsubishi Outlander GT Prototype. Featuring a nose straight from the Evo X, it has a number of significant upgrades:

• More powerful V-6 engine now with 230bhp compared to the previous 220bhp

Autoweek just posted the first few pics of the new Outlander replacement called, imaginatively enough, the Outlander GT Prototype. From the photos, it looks like they grafted the nose of the current Lancer into a more slab sided body. The lights look wicked though.

Expect better V-6 and I-4 engines, rumored to have Stop-start technology and direct injection (which, ironically, older Mitsu cars already had).
