McLaren’s “Affordable” F1 Car for the Road

Finally revealed was the production version of the McLaren MP4-12C, which is the company’s answer to the Ferrari 458 Italia. Priced at a reasonable $225,000, it sports all the right credentials to take the fight to the Italian supercar maker.

 

Q1 2009 Car Sales Surprise…

Well, its no surprise that the first quarter of 2009 was an ugly one from a sales point of view. Wards just released it Q1 vehicle sales for North America and overall was down 38% compared to Q1 of 2008. Not all was doom and gloom though, there were some individual models that actually saw a sales spike. Proof that there is still a demand of cars. The biggest surprise? The Kia Amanti saw a threefold increase in car sales. I am not sure what is really going on in the US, but when the Kia Amanti sees a sales spike something seems amiss.
